Moon over Mo

As we continue to leave those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer behind us, I have been reviewing the photos I took, and this has caused me to remember some of the times we had. One of the big events this past summer (memory-wise) was our trip to Mo Ranch, and I have quite a few photos (along with memories) to share.
This photo was taken on the first evening we were there. He had just finished a picnic-style dinner (actually, we ate dinner an hour before, but we joined the group anyway) down by the river, and were walking around waiting for the sun to set. I happened to look up, and saw the moon in the late afternoon sky.

When I looked at the image today, I felt the color of the sky was bright enough that it would pop just a bit more if I added a bit of Velvia effect, so I fired up Photoshop, and... voilá!
