Vacation @ Mo Ranch: Last Evening
This past week, the family and I spent several days at Mo Ranch, on a Sunday School class (non-)retreat. The goal was to spend several days doing as little as humanly possible, a goal we managed to achieve with flying colors. The first day was devoted to sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Oh, and eating. But not a whole lot. On the second day, though, I spent a bit more time out and about, and pulled out the 5D and tripod for some evening photography.
So, continuing the 'tradition' of sharing images in an inverse timeline, I give you:

| ♫ By the light, |
The first photo is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) composite image of one of the buildings, taken at dusk. It is three separate shots, taken at 1, 4, and 15 seconds, then merged using Photomatix Pro.

| ♫ of the silvery moon... |
The other photo is one I took of the moon as seen through the trees. This is just a single image, taken at 1/200 sec.
