Given the amount of rain we have been experiencing in the Houston area recently, I haven't done as much photography as I would have liked, partially out of reluctance to expose my dSLR to the elements. So, I decided to pick up something I wouldn't mind taking out in the rain - in this case, a Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital ELPH. Stuffed inside an iPod sock, it fits real nicely in the shirt pocket, and if the weather is a bit iffy, I can still pull it out and get a quick snap or 10 without increasing my stress levels significantly.
Here's a shot I grabbed of a hibiscus flower. Take a look, and tell me what you think.

Update: To see if I could improve the image, I ran it through Photomatix and converted it to a pseudo-HDR image. Do you see the difference?
