New Lens!

After reading about Stephanie Davis' adventures with her new Canon 24-105 F/4L IS lens over at Shutterblog, I became insanely jealous. Yesterday, I finally dealt with my issues, and went out and purchased one for my very own. Of course, since my usual camera store is closed for Passover, I headed to Houston Camera Exchange. Seems they have a spike in sales during the Passover season, according to the guy who sold me the lens.
Anyway, I could hardly wait to get home, and try my new baby out. I connected it to the 5D, and started looking for a picture to take.
This is what I found.
It is an orange vampire bat which had been a pumpkin ornament, looking at a picture of itself perched on top of a pumpkin. The original photo was taken in either 2002 or 2003 (so the pumpkin of course is history.) I had to crank up the ISO to 1250, but even so the meter was reading 1/15 sec. Fortunately, the lens has the IS (Image Stabilization) feature, so I was able to get the shot.
Oh, and btw since the pumpkin is somewhat round, this also answers the challenge that Wabbit Womyn issued.
Take a look at the photo, and tell me what you think.
