America Gets It Wrong... Again

My initial reaction, upon seeing the results of the latest American Idol vote:

...the HELL, America!?

I mean, SRSLY folks... first we have the fiasco of 2008, in which we get the triad of Pelosi, Reid, and Obama. Next, we get the primary elections of 2010, in which most of the incumbent Congresscritters sail to an easy victory, which means we will be subject to ANOTHER TWO YEARS of Sheila "Don't Get Between Me and That Camera, Sucka" Jackson Lee.

But all this pales, compared to the pain and suffering the voters of America inflicted upon us last night. I mean, Paige Miles? Aaron Kelly? Andrew Garcia!? KATIE STEVENS‽‽ While you're at it, why not bring back TDelT, Willie Hung, Kristy Lee Cook^*, and... SanJAYA‽

Or better yet, just shoot us, and put us out of our misery.

Oh, and Idol fans? My teevee died last night. A slow, painful, horrible death. And I hold you responsible.

UPDATE: OK, so after I've had some time to ~~recover from the drunk I got on after watching the show last night~~ ~~climb down from the ledge I was gonna jump off of~~ sleep on it, and I have decided to express how I feel in a calm, mature, rational manner. So, here goes...

^*I actually happen to like Kristy Lee, and even bought her album when it came out. However, even I will admit that her performance on the Idol stage was less than stellar.
