I would like to find something funny in this, something to skewer those who are pushing to make our health care system more like Canada's. But, I just can't, because there is nothing funny about this, nothing at all.

According to a Globe & Mail article today, it's standard practice at Canadian teaching hospitals to allow medical students to practice pelvic exams on women who have undergone surgery, while they are still unconscious, without their consent.
This is just wrong. So very, very wrong.
