Fortunately for all involved, this didn't happen in H-Town, or else the story would likely have included statements about the officers "in fear of their lives", and pictures of dead folks clutching "deadly ice grenades".

According to reports, the police chief stated that such conduct by officers would be "inappropriate."
I would certainly hope so.
