Another form of 'death panel'
It looks like lawmakers in the good old USofA aren't the only ones with their heads up their butts working on some... questionable legislation related to health-care issues these days. For example, across the pond, it seems that one country is taking a page out of Sarah Palin's playbook* as Uganda Debates Proposal That Would Sentence Gays to Death.
Among other things, the measure would impose the death penalty
"...for active homosexuals living with HIV..."
Uh, hey there Uganda, in case you haven't noticed, for many folks living with HIV is a death sentence. Just sayin'.
* No, Sarah Palin didn't advocate sentencing gays to death, to the best of my knowledge. The reference was to "death panels".

I missed this Ed -- thanks for pointing out man's inhumanity to man. I know on some level I am cynical and disgusted but on another level I am keeping perspective that at least that's not where we are. Maybe that sounds harsh. But POV matters.
And highlighting it might help prevent it or bring change or help.
Yeah, it was horrid, which is why I filed it under "W-T-F". As much as I want to be an optimist, somebody needs to remind folks that it ain't all tea and crumpets out there.
