Foodie Friday: the UN-Chili

Earlier this week, my son decided we should celebrate the arrival of cold weather by having an old winter stand-by for dinner: chili. The only problem being, that we didn't have the fixin's for traditional Texas Red. So, it was time to improvise! A little ground beef, some rice, and green chili sauce, and presto! We have

Green spicy sauce with ground beef and rice. Or, maybe a "one bowl wonder". Whatever you do, however, don't call it chili. 'Cuz in Texas, them's be fightin' words.
