Riddle me this, America: which story do you think is more deserving of "headline" coverage...
Note: this is not intended as a slam on the Houston Chronicle - I just happened to use their web site as I was searching for the stories. Rather, I am been noticing that for the past few days, matters such as le affaire John Edwards and whether or not Hillary was told to portray Sen. Obama as un-American have been talked to death (especially on the 24-hour news stations), while coverage of the invasion of a sovereign nation, a war that could have ended up involving the use of nuclear weaponry has (until very recently) been pretty much... ignored.
It's all a matter of priority, folks. And, maybe it is time we get ours straight.
