Because Nobody Wants To See The "Democrapic" Convention
My left-leaning readers are probably gonna hate me for this, but here goes...
This ordinance ought to be a real conversation starter in the Lawson household:
Poo and pee dominated a public hearing Monday on a new law that prohibits people from carrying certain items if they intend to use them for nefarious purposes.
The law, crafted in advance of the Democratic National Convention, was adopted unanimously by the City Council.
But not before a hearing laced with comedy and profanity.
So, what was the reaction in the Lawson household when news of this development broke? See for yourself: *
Of course, critics of the Waste Mismanagement Ordinance of '08 had their own reaction:
"The intent of this ordinance is to try to smear protesters..."
Actually, I am thinking that the intent of this ordinance is to prevent the protesters from smearing...
I am happy to see, however, that the city council of Denver has our best interests in mind. Now, if they can just direct the police to pick up those poopulists and other subversive pee-pul carrying loaded diapers and bags full of 'doggie did', the security of the Republic will be assured.
Jeebus help us, however, if someone decides to drive to Denver with a truckload of the stuff.
(h/t 'El Rushbo')
* Not the actual Lawson household reaction, at least not that I know of. But it could be.

Holy crap, I can't stop giggling. I totally want to know what a feces bomb would look like. What's the detonator? How do you light it?
These things will keep me up at night.
