iPhone released; telephone network crashes nationwide
Apple's new iPhone was released to consumers at 6:00 PM today, amid much hype and hullabaloo.
Approximately 27.125 seconds later, the telephone network experienced a complete and total nationwide meltdown, as 6 million people simultaneously shouted into the Object of Their Desire:
Hello? OMG, you are the first call on my new iPhone. Can you believe it? Hello? Hello?!? Can you HEAR ME NOW?!?
