Hot on the heels of Wisconsin's proposal to require their worst sex offenders to drive around with green license plates, several communities have taken it one step further, and have introduced measures to require convicted offenders to wear a neon Day-Glo puke green circle on their outer clothing.
When advised that this was reminiscent of the old Scarlet Letter, their reply was, "No, we were thinking more along the lines of the pink triangle used in some European nations during the mid-20th Century."
