Hot on the tail of ABC's report on Nightline concerning The Blasphemy Challenge, one of the other networks has announced plans for the Next Big Thing in Reality TV: a show called 'The Bom'.

This is a different type of Reality TV, a network spokesman said, where new ground is broken and where people will go where no one has gone before - at least, not since 2004, when the FCC issued strict new rules concerning broadcasting naughty bits over the airwaves.

Mixing "Jerry Springer (UNCENSORED)" with "Take a Vacation into Space" and throw in a dash of "I Wanna Be on TV!", 'The Bom' allows people with more dollars than sense to have the experience of a lifetime: for a mere $500,000.00 they are able to get on national TV, and do something that is a clear violation of the FCC Rules.

When asked why the network opted to go this route rather than continue with the religious theme, the spokesman said "hey, Dude, no way we're gonna take a chance on pissin' Him off like that! The FCC can only fine us and maybe take away our broadcast license, but He could, like, throw lightning at us, and boil us in hellfire and brimstone, and send gnarly spiders to eat our 'nads, and such. No way, Dude!"

So: Have you ever wanted to drop a fully-loaded F-Bomb on primetime TV? The opportunity can be yours, for a mere half-million (per occurrance.)
