Yep. That is pretty much the story. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on this person showing up (unless, that is, you don't require oxygen to live.)

I smelled a rat, a scam, your letter was confirmation of my doubt my doubts of my friends deal, lucky for me that I did not send any money. but my friend did.

1.they try to close the deal in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

2. they want to bring it to an emmbassy safehouse.before transfer to a bank document.

3. transfered by UN diplomatic cargo (bill of ladding reciept is only a computer print-out. for a united nations courier, our country has better quality of paper than this.)

4. pay first before release of cargo. (you pay only when the cargo is in front of you duh!! standard rule of receiving cargo)

5. yup, his grand uncle in south africa left it to them after 50 years and he is the sole benficiary.

incedentally if they have so much money, why did he not order his own food, my goodness we even gave him our share.

how many red flags do I need to see?

there is even a second scam that the Finance Minister of Nigeria is on the Phone, (well anyone in high school can do this pretending that you are the said person)
